After chatting with Akasha last week, we decided to follow it up and chat to the team from Exit. Launching in 2014 with a Saison (I distinctly remember the launch day at Slowbeer. All this beer and internet hasn’t cooked my memory yet), the brand has won trophies, a strong core of supporters, and launched it’s own bar in Richmond (read this excellent article about the bar in Broadsheet). Unfortunately, wins and growth haven’t translated to wider market success, and as a result they are launching a rebranded line. Like Akasha, the rebrand resulted in a lot of debate online, both negative and positive. We explore all of this in our chat.
