Home is Where the Beer is Part Two: Designing Recipes

For the second part of this 12 part series, Nic and Luke chat to Ian and Shayne from Future Mountain, and Adrian from Moon Dog. Future Mountain is a soon to be opened brewery and blendery in Melbourne’s North and the guys share a little of their story and a lot of their expertise. Moon Dog, on the other hand, are well established in Australian beer, and while it sells a lot of pale ale and lager it is definitely its more esoteric beers that grab attention. So naturally Adrian immediately talks about the problems designing the most ridiculous beers possible. From their we look at malt selection, random ingredients, and all the other bits and pieces that go into designing beer recipes.
